LEADERFINS Pure Carbon Blades (Hard Stiffness / White Rails) are a perfect starting point for the beginner to the intermediate freediver that’s looking for a more more responsive blade action than the fibreglass and carbon blend options in the Leaderfins line.  The Pure Carbon (or 100% Carbon) blades line in the leaderfins lineup give you the lightest and most responsive material of their product lines.

Available in 3 stiffness ratings you can select the blade that is most suited to the type of diving you do, your size and your kick strike.

If you would like a full fin/footpocket setup when purchasing blades through Spearfishing Canada you must also select the footpocket of your choice as a separate cart item. If you would like Spearfishing Canada to assemble the footpockets and blades for you this must be checked and selected while adding your blades to the cart.

Leaderfins recommends the following as a loose guideline when selecting your blade stiffness which should primarily be based off the type of freediving you do, your size and your kick strike. Please keep in mind that the different materials all respond differently within the same stiffness class across the material options. • Up to 55 kg – Extra Soft blade stiffness
• Up to 70 kg – Extra Soft or Soft blade stiffness – depending on your goals, personal preferences and physical shape
• Up to 90 kg – Soft or Medium blade stiffness – depending on your goals, personal preferences and physical shape
• Up to 100 kg – Medium blade stiffness
• Over 100 kg – Medium or Hard blade stiffness – depending on your goals, personal preferences and physical shape

Spearfishing Canada has both Riffe Veloc Footpockets and Leaderfin Footpockets available. While the choice is yours we do recommend the quality of the Riffe Footpocket as the footpocket of choice to pair with these blades.

No freediving fin setup is complete without a pair of RIFFE FIN KEEPERS. A better foot connection will create better energy and power transfer through each of your kicks. We can’t stress enough how much fin keepers will benefit you with this power transfer of your kicks ultimately allowing you to conserve oxygen for a longer dive.
